Planning session for community members, designers, and others to collaborate on a vision for the future look of downtown S.B.’s funky neighborhood.
The Arts Fund is organizing a community project in the Funk Zone called the Funk Zone Charrette Project. A Charrette is an intensive planning session where citizens, designers, etc. collaborate on a vision for development. It will serve to bring together community members, artists, architects, business owners and whomever would like to CREATE a design for a building, block, niche area in our neighborhood. Materials will be provided by The Arts Fund and our first meeting is NEXT FRIDAY JULY 27 @ 6:00 at Municipal Winemakers.
Teams will be formed from this meeting, and The Arts Fund will create a timeline for all interested designers to submit their drawings, photographs, and mixed media charrettes for the Funk Zone Charrette Exhibition at the Arts Fund Gallery September 28 – October 20.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to attend. We will be providing wine for you all as well.
If you have any questions, please contact Catherine Gee (965-7321).
